2017 Cabernet Sauvignon
Be prepared for something different. This shares more in common with a Pinot Noir than the traditional big, structured and earthy cab sav’s you are perhaps more used to. It’s light at just under 13%, and has delicate tannins. The aroma is beautiful with minimal time in new oak, and some cab sav characteristics, like dark fruits and plum, work beautifully in this lighter context.
It’s a drinking wine and not made for the cellar. It will be a delightful red in the summer, and you don’t need a big, meaty meal to balance.
