70% of this wine is from our 50 years old Macedon Ranges pinot noir vines, which is reflected in its depth and complexity.

Most of the fruit was destemmed and fermented on skins for around 12 days; but a small volume (c 15%) was fermented through carbonic maceration, to balance the savory earthy notes with brightness and fruit.

11 months aged in seasoned French oak, and bottled at Zig Zag Rd.

This is a wonderful expression of Macedon Ranges pinot, which is both serious and approachable. It would age well.
